I’m so excited to share my updated everyday makeup products today! I’ve been wearing this new non-toxic makeup from Omiana for a few weeks now, so you can see what it looks like in my most recent outfit pictures here, here and here.
A couple of weeks ago I was searching online for healthy, non-toxic foundations that had no Mica or Titanium Dioxide in them (articles about why you might want to avoid these ingredients here + here) and stumbled upon Omiana Makeup & Skincare. I’ve typically always used drugstore products or makeup found at Sephora, so I was excited when I found Omiana online, a company that pays attention to every ingredient they put into their products and are extremely open about the ingredients that are used so you know exactly what’s going onto your skin. What goes onto our skin gets absorbed into our bloodstream, so it’s important to know what is in the products we use!
As I was researching, I also read that makeup products using harmful chemicals can actually make your skin age prematurely, which was also a huge factor for me in wanting to find healthier makeup alternatives. I’ve been using the products below from Omiana for my everyday makeup routine for a few weeks now and couldn’t recommend them enough! They offer samples so you can try a few different options/shades and see what you love best before buying a larger option. I reached out to them to see if I could offer something to my readers, so we came up with a 10% discount code for all of you! yay!
^ This liquid foundation is my favorite out of a few of their options because it doesn’t contain any titanium dioxide or mica, and I feel like the coverage is exactly what I need! Not too much or too heavy, but just the right amount of coverage.
Liquid Foundation Mousse here
^ This foundation is considered “intense coverage” and it has no Mica, but it does contain titanium dioxide (which helps with coverage). If you need a lot of coverage for things such as scars, acne scars, or acne in general, this would be your best bet. What’s great about this product is that if you do have acne, the ingredients won’t irritate your skin and make it worse.
Intense Coverage Matte Liquid Foundation here
^ This is a cream foundation that’s considered matte with intense coverage. I use this brush with it to blend it into my skin. A little bit does go a long way! I love it. So silky and smooth. This foundation has no Mica.

^ This is a redness concealer cream that helps cover redness, blemishes, camouflage dark circles and more. I really love this product. I’ve always had extremely dark circles under my eyes, no matter how much sleep I get or water I drink, and this concealer works wonders! It has no Mica, Titanium Dioxide or Zinc Oxide.
Redness Concealer Cream here
^ This pressed powder is amazing. It doesn’t have any Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, or Boron Nitride. It has medium to full coverage and glides on skin so smoothly.

^ This loose powder foundation only offers subtle coverage, however, the benefits are that is doesn’t contain Mica or Titanium Dioxide. You could use this on top of a liquid foundation, or I use it just by itself when I’m running errands and don’t want a full face of makeup.

^ Omiana’s eyeliner colors are heaven! This color is “Slate”. I don’t like using black eyeliner unless it’s at night and I’m doing a smokey look because it can look harsh and unnatural against my green eyes, so this Slate color has been perfect. I also love the subtle shimmer golden brown color! These eyeliners have no titanium dioxide or dyes.
P.S. eyeliner tip: use darker eyeliners on top of your lid/subtly underneath your bottom lashes, and use a white or nude color eyeliner on your waterline to make your eyes look bigger!

^ This all natural mascara actually works (compared to other healthy alternatives I’ve tried in the past). This is the Vegan black lengthening mascara without Mica, Titanium Dioxide and more.
Knowing that The International Agency for Research on Cancer designates titanium dioxide as a carcinogen, largely due to studies that have found increased lung cancers due to inhalation exposure in animals (article here), and long-term inhalation of mica dust may cause lung scarring which leads to symptoms such as coughing, shortness of breath, weakness, and weight loss (article here), I wanted to share what I found for myself with you to give you healthier, non-toxic makeup product options that you can use to switch out with your old ones! I’d love to hear if you’ve tried any of these options before, or if you decide to try them now, what you’re thoughts are!
