I mentioned in a few other blog posts (here + here) that I’m packing up and moving all of our things to storage while Dylan and I are gone for the next couple of months. I promised myself at the beginning of the year that I’d share a little bit more on the blog about our life, because I love connecting with people, sharing stories, and feeling like this is a space where we can do life together (or at least virtually together 🙂 ). I’ve always been pretty closed off about sharing too much of our life online, for a few reasons, but a lot has happened over the last few months for Dylan and I, and I’m at a place now where it doesn’t bother me much anymore. Why be closed off when there are amazing people out there to connect with and stories to share that are inspiring or maybe helpful? So that’s my goal this year. To share more. Allow myself to be a bit more open. It might take me some time, but maybe someone will gain something from it, like I know I have from reading other bloggers posts.

This past month or two has been a whirlwind of craziness for Dylan and I, with some highs and a lot of lows. Kind of one of those seasons where it feels like the saying, “when it rains, it pours”.  I know some people think because of social media, life looks perfect all of the time. It’s not. And that’s okay, because it’s not meant to be. Each season grows you and better prepares you for the next season, so I’ve learned over the years. And as Roald Dahl said, “There are so many beautiful reasons to be happy”. So we make sure we’re always reminding ourselves of the most important things that we do have and can be grateful for. It completely changes perspective, and if you can do that, you’ve conquered one of the hardest parts.

All that to say, and like mentioned in my previous posts, I’m excited to take you on my travels with me!! I’m ready to get out and explore. I’m going to be sharing everything I travel with, from suitcases, to travel bags and wallets, to camera gear and everything in between to make life super easy wherever you’re off to on your own adventures. I’m a bit OCD when it comes to things being organized and keeping things as minimal as possible so there’s no clutter, so I’m going to be sharing some tips on that as well! Is there anything you’d like to see or know more of this year on the blog? Share with me in the comments section or send me an email. I always love hearing from you!

xo, Linds
